Meet Abelana Game Reserve’s reservations manager, Melly Lawson. Melly has been in the hospitality industry since 1987 and is passionate about tourism. She arrived in South Africa in 1982 having travelled overland through Africa for six months from London.

Melly spent seven years working at Londolozi Private Game Reserve in reception and accounts and also worked for Rani Resorts as their leisure sales manager.

Melly is delighted to be handling reservations for Abelana Game Reserve and believes that developing strong relationships is the foundation of everything she does, both professionally and personally. Outside of work Melly loves travelling, visiting the bush, good food, laughing with friends, movies and spending time/walking with her gorgeous golden retriever Bella, (oh, and of course enjoying time with her fab husband Bruce!)
