South Africa’s safari offering just got bigger and better with the unveiling of Abelana Safari Camp, which will be ready to welcome its first guests in September 2019. With just five en-suite tents and an expansive tented lounge and dining area, this intimate, authentic safari camp is offering immersive African wilderness experiences like no other, with walking safaris across the spectacular southern section of Abelana Game Reserve. One of the things that makes the camp truly special is its amazing location, nestled between the dramatic, towering rockscapes of sandstone and granite koppies with amazing views out over the surrounding bush. The best view by far is from the camp’s 100 square metre viewing deck on top of a huge outcrop, from where you can see forever and enjoy the most incredible sunsets. The local rock hyraxes have already made themselves at home in camp and a variety of wildlife regularly passes through, making Abelana Safari Camp a real safari hot spot in its own right!
